Would you purchase a negative SEO service?

Hello everyone and I hope you're all doing well. So, I was just curious to know if you'd purchase a negative SEO package to bring down a competitor? Or, would you purchase a service where negative reviews would be posted about your competitor in addition to having their site(s) blasted with thousands of spam links?

This is a question that I haven't seen asked and out of curiosity wanted to get some feedback from you guys to see how many people would actually use a service like this.

There was a time I would have jumped aboard that wagon.

But my life's taken many turns since then, and to answer your question. No.

I will not do that to someone, if I cannot take them on then I should have tackled a better market until I was ready. To those who easily will, I pray you see the world through different eyes.
 
I don't think so, if they're just a competitor and not doing anything wrong then I don't see the need to ruin their website.
I think it's unethical, just bringing down someones website only to benefit yourself.
 
It depends. I have one competitor who is an ass in real life. I would have no problem doing it to him.
 
If the purpose is strictly for competition reasons then I believe that is a direct reflection of the kind of person wanting to do it. If a person/business wants to "cheat" instead of compete on what they bring to the table then ? I DO however support negative SEO for situations that merit such, like companies that "appear" to be something that they are truly not. In my career I am constantly amazed how some fairly successful people & businesses have websites that reflect one thing and do another
 
I wouldn't but if anybody was trying to screw with me then I would fuck them over and I wouldn't need to hire somebody else to do it.

Destroying someone else's work just because we cannot work harder to beat them is very unethical.
 
Why do people keeping missing the simple fact that if you do that to someone then they can easily turn around to thesame back to you in return! Neg SEO does NOT WORK for simple fact that if you kill someones site they will kill your site and you both lose!!

nah, if i have money then i'll buy SEO services for my website instead of wasting money on doing neg. SEO on my competitor's website. Of course there are the other type of people who would do anything to outrank you, no matter whether it's ethical or not. You can see a lot of people flagging other people's videos on YT, who are using PPD methods to earn money. Those are the morons who do these type of things, not us :) we might be blackhats, but still we have conscience and we r thousand times better than them. ;)
 
No, not to attack someone, but I would use it as a defense if I knew someone was attacking my sites.

Otherwise, just keep building links with the money, and work on outranking them. I think the best strategy is to think long term - anything they do to screw you fast is going to be short term for them anyway.

Funny, the only time I have considered it was in the same situation.
 
I wouldn't, but surely if I wanted to it would just be a case of buying 1 million xrumer links from fiverr all with the same anchor text, viagra, porn for example and pinging them all in one big blast.
 
I would not do it unless they attacked me somehow first and caused the war.
 
Sites I manage and my own have gotten hit by negseo. It's weasel tactics, but I am sure the attacker cashed in on their low game.

Google created a mess by trying to centralize link control. They do all the shit they tell us not to do, they sell links, they scrape data and spam tons of ads above the fold, etc, then comes a video from Fatt Butts telling everyone to behave and not buy links....how cute.
