imagine needing to impress your partner
@BlurryBit & @Mr Positive do you still attempt to impress your wife or just be yourself ;)

She’s the only girl who married me because I was just plain me with my anxiety’s and all. I was stunned when she said okay big deal and post that my anxiety’s reduced 99% so yea I think I answered it what all should do :p

It's a question of a perception AI. For someone its insanely useful tool that automates routine processes and boosting their efficiency
And for someone its basis of their own business. Seriously, people who make AI tools rn become "to the moon" like AI itself
But for someone it is a thing that took their activity and job away. So its just a question of in which group are you

I don't want artificial intelligence because I know that artificial intelligence will bring about the end of the world.

Not gonna lie, AI makes a lot of stuff easier for me. So AI to the moon, but I could do without it as well.

It's scary to feel like you could be replaced haha...but some of the things it can do are worth it. I think a lot of lives will be saved by AI (marketing aside here lol) so for that simple reason it's hard to want it gone.

I think AI is definitely the biggest thing right now but I think we were just fine without it.

I don't like the idea of a computer making decisions for me or having to question my employees everyday.

I see the benefits but Im just old school, idk.

What are some problems you see in your life because of AI?
No problems really, AI has improved my productivity and saved me a lot of time.

This thread reminds me of the complaints ancient peoples had when WRITING WAS INVENTED

They were convinced that "A LOT WILL BE LOST" if people switch from memorizing to writing.

The more things change... the more they stay the same

The bottom line? AI is just a tool

It will never be the CENTER of Human meaning

AI is our only hope and it will be our last invention, it should be able to accelerate progress timescales by a huge margin.
there will be a lot of scientific breakthroughs coming up within the next 20 years because of AI.

Well. Ripping code from github existed before chatgpt knew how to code so... Maybe AI's a bit overrated? Then, now that every small business owner uses chatgpt to write their boring useless social media posts there's a chance they'll fuck off and stop asking me to write their posts so I could do linkbuilding, ads and technical stuff instead. Now I also can tell it to write boring content for my social media profiles too so they're not, like, literally empty. So positive influence on my work, I'd say.

I worry about a scenario where AI will dominate the earth. So in my opinion, the world will still be fine without AI

Work smarter, not harder.
AI won’t replace you, but people using AI will.
I think this is one thing you should consider
