    Hi,

I'm developing a tool that have the following functionalities. It's almost ready but I would like to understand whether any of you are going to pay $1 for it:

+ You put in a seed keyword, it spits out thousands of related keywords from Google/Youtube/Google News. Like how ubersuggest is doing it.

+ It gives you all the Google Adword Metrics for each keyword: Search Volume, CPC, Adword Competition

+ It gives you Google Trend graph for each keyword so you can see whether something has been trending up lately

+ It gives you analysis of the top 10 SERP's for each keyword on whether which page has the keyword in the title, content, url, etc...

+ It gives you a score of how difficulty to rank for a keyword in SEO.

+ It's web based so you don't have to install anything on your computer and also optimized for your mobile device that you can use anywhere.

+ You can export all the data to CSV for you to keep.

Are you going to pay for it? Just $1. Assuming everything works perfectly, no bugs or lags. If not, why and what feature would you like to see?

    Thanks!

No... simply because I didn't like that you asked me if I would pay $1. If you had said, here buy this and it's $20 then maybe.

Interesting... My marketing skill sucks then. I just want to make sure people find my tool to be useful before putting the finish touch on it. So if I sell it to you for $20, then you would pay $1 for it??? :)

No, since all that can be done with 2-3 free web-based tools already. And why would you price it at $1? That is not worth it. Price it properly or give it for free/monetize with ads.

I thought about it, but the route of going to use your competitor's website to find the keywords are old and outdated method... Let me explain and tell me if I'm wrong:

You find website X that selling product similar to yours. You want to find the keywords in website X so you can try to out rank them; a few things that this approach won't give you good results:

    1. Website X already have been optimizing for those keywords. So they have good number of backlinks and contents to have them rank. It would be hard to outrank them.

    2. Your other competitors are doing the same thing; trying to outrank X for the same set of keywords. Technically, you're no longer competing with X for the same set of keywords, you are competing with X, Y, Z and who knows how many competitors out there that are trying to do the same thing that you are for the "SAME SET OF KEYWORDS".

My tool will give out thousands of other related keywords, more than any other tool out there can possibly match. This gives you a much higher chance of finding a set of keywords that none of your competitors have seen or thought about for the same product. You get all the metrics and analyses on the top 10 SERP's that Google already rank them for but those SERP's may be an easy fight -- you get it from the difficulty score.

This approach gives you 2 benefits: A. Avoid Competition and B. Know Before You Leap

    What do you think?

$1 is not much, so I would pay for it, as long as it gives accurate results.

    - Most of the features are available in free web-based tools. But the 2 features like SERP analysis and SEO difficulty scoring are not available anywhere for free based on what I know. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    - Since all of the things above are with different set of tools, you'll spend more time trying to stitch them together. Hence $1 to pay for convenience.

    - I don't like ad on my website, it's just very annoying; at least to me so I don't want the users to face the same issue. $1 to make sure it's not bot hitting my website and bring down my server so I can keep others enjoying the tool with the low cost.

    - I plan to make money from heavy users -- those that find my tool to be useful to them. For the light users, I want to prove the values of my tool first before opening my hands to ask for money.

    Now, will you pay $1?

Sure, sounds interesting. xCharged's idea is something you should definitely integrate.
May I ask what your math is on keyword difficulty?
Feature idea: you could combine the two: user could get a value that determines and predicts how difficult (or easy) it would be to beat a competitor for a given keyword. So it's not just a general kw dif analyser, It's a targeted comp based kw dif analyser.

It will for sure give accurate results. You can manually verify it yourself by going to Google and look for the top 10 SERP's yourself and use other free tools to cross check.

    Thanks for your input! :)

    1. Math on keyword difficulty:
    - Keyword contains in title
    - # of appearances of keyword in content
    - Domain strength
    - # of backlinks to the page
    - Length of content
A few more but the aboves are biggest drivers

    2. I explained why xCharged's idea is not a good approach. It might be the way that we're doing now to find and compete for keywords, but I still don't see good reason for doing it that way. I don't develop product that will be outdated in the next 2-3 years.

    3. The feature you mentioned to be added on is actually the feature that I included in the list of my original post. There are 2 scores: 1 specific score for each of the 10 SERP's, and 1 overall Score -- for each keyword.

    Thanks for your input.

    Thank you for your answer.
I mostly look at competitors keyword choices to know what to avoid, to get inspiration on finding new lsi, long tail keywords and to check if there is a slight chance to beat one or two of its not so well ranking ones. So it's still usefull in this regard I think. Anyway, I'll buy it for a dollar :)

Good to hear your thoughts. In a way, my tool will give you insights into which keywords to avoid already by you looking at the difficulty score for each of the keywords that you get. So your task is to just focus on which easy keywords with good search volume to rank for. And once you rank high for it, your competitors will have hard time to out rank you.

Will let you know when it's available to be used. Should be within 2 weeks at most. :)

    1. Keywordrevealer shows top 10 serp stats for keywords, you described your "SEO difficulty scoring" as keyword difficulty, which many tools provide.

    2. A few seconds to change sites isnt worth the bother of any charge, imo.

    3. Ads are only as annoying as one makes them. Dont need to charge to protect against bots.

    4. Sure, thats a popular strategy. The usual way is to provide a limited version free, asking for $1 is still asking for money.

    It's still a pass, sorry.

Shut up and take my money. I would pay for it. Changing other tab in browser to use other tool still need time even in milisecond. Even if you ask for $10 I would still pay for it.

Some of us need a simple tool. Such a headache open up Semrush watching all those number and tab when we only need a simple one.

cAN THE Tool give me like a really good ranking metter status of how difficlaty a word is to rank.

Basically, if it can give me the OBL's of each page, the number of keywords and density in a page then it is good. What other things would you charge for only 1 dollar?

Interesting... How do I protect against bots without charging? People can create hundreds of emails but not easily to have hundreds of valid credit cards. It would be eye opening to hear your valuable ideas.
