Would you make a BHW Journey thread as a Vlog?

So I'm thinking of busting open a journey thread for a bit of fun and accountability, but the thought of typing the necessary long-ass posts to update my progress puts me off, sitting in front of a screen too long saps my energy. Weird I do IM right... lol. Anyway as far as the journey thread, I thought I could just switch on the webcam and simply talk to you old school style about my progress.

Literally NONE of the journey threads are doing this though, I get the need for anonymity and I like it too, but can you really get screwed by showing your face? Maybe if it's an issue I could make it only audio, but I must be missing something since nobody else is doing this.

I guess this goes out to the mods too, what do you reckon?

I get you , it might not be so confortable to show your face . But you can record your screen and show us your earnings , what you did and where , show us your youtube videos list for example .Maybe it would be more ilustrative idk...

That's a good idea actually, Google Hangouts has a screen share feature, and I could just record on that.

@OP, go for it.
People like to separate their real world identities from BlackHat activities for a variety of reasons.
If you don't mind people knowing who you are and what you look like, then go ahead and do it.
It will make it more personal and people will probably react well to it.
I think a few people on BHW have posted videos of themselves before and I have always enjoyed them.

FYI -- this is an awesome idea.

There's no issue with attaching your face (or real identity) to your profile.. but obviously make sure it's something you would want to make public.

Assume someone you know will stumble on your profile some day.

Or you could just use any other normal screen recorder like camstasia
