Hi all, I have 2 websites on the same server.
Both in same niche.
How do you think Google will look at this?
Both in same niche.

It is recommended not to do this.
It's OK, no problem.Hi all, I have 2 websites on the same server.

That would work fine.yeah I didnt think it was a good idea.
What about setting up a new server with different I.P address?
I have done this and haven't found any issue with it, I genuinely wanted to link to my site.
Lol, I mean. I would still do it but not too many links.I just want to push mine up in the serps![]()
It really depends,
If you're referring to a single or couple of websites then it won't be a problem,
Do the websites have some more decent backlinks, authority, traffic, outbound links?
Are they spammy? are they within the same niche?
In most cases, it won't be a problem,
But, if you're linking 2 brand new crappy websites with copied content and other red flags, there you got a problem
Go for it, it won't be problem,It's a couple of websites, both high quality content with some authority etc. In same niche. Aged too....
This is what I was concerned about. If you have a large enough link profile one link to a site on same server won't matter, but it will create a footprint. Do that more than once your risk profile increases.
If it's a small PBN and you have just a handful of links from your other sites, I personally would not do that. It's effectively a small PBN
Google usually treats each website individually, but if you have two related sites on the same server, be cautious about possible issues like linking between them or duplicate content.Hi all, I have 2 websites on the same server.
