Would you keep this PBN website active or let the domain expire?

Hi,

So in 2015 I registered one domain, not that powerful metrics, and built a site on it, which is still as of today linking to one of my moneysites.

However, since domain's metrics are really weak (posted below), I'm in doubt should I let this domain expire or keep it active, because of content age; Now almost 5 years old and site is still indexed on Google.

Domain metrics:

DA: 20
PA: 12
RD: 14
Total Backlinks: 29
Ahrefs rating: 4.7/100

I'm not sure whether this website is worth of $13 a year I'm paying to keep it...

What's your opinion?

Just keep it. I have like 200 domains registered still that I keep active yearly for work. All good domains sat gathering days lol.

Powerwise, it's a weak domain sure.

But considering it's already built out and you have backlinks from there pointing to your money site (Google hates when sites lose backlinks), $13 isn't much of an investment to keep it alive.

So yes, I would renew it.

It's easy to take this decision. If you earn more than $13+hosting cost, then keep it. If your money site is earning good enough to pay the expense of this website then keep it. If you can plan out something for this website then keep it. Else... let the domain expire.

If I were you then I would sell some low-cost guest posts of the websites (maybe $5 gigs). OR I would have put the website on sale for cheap... maybe just $50. OR I would have let the domain expire and move the content to another website (by using 301 redirect in-time).

So, people are voting for.... keep it and use it.

Good luck.

13/ year is not much . And it is not just sitting there for nothing is it?

Keep it. It's a nice boost for cheap. That domain alone might not make a lot of difference, but combined with your other backlinks, it does add value to your backlink profile. The only reason I'd drop it is if it had a penalty or it's operational costs were higher.

Why not build some more backlinks into it to make it stronger? If the domain's history is not spammy, it could become a great source for your money site.

If not, you can always try and auction it. Might get some more money instead of just letting it expire.

Good luck :)

As mentioned above, calculate ROI, if we do not calculate ROI on everything what exactly are we doing and why?
