As I said in a previous post I have +10,000 business data scraped and I want to use that data.

I considered hiring some cold callers or emailing but I just found the new way to generate leads this 2024: AI Cold Callers

I'm looking some websites that offer this services and looks pretty nice, much cheaper, faster and probably better conversion rate.

Do you have experience with this bots?

Just make sure what the laws says in your country about automated machine calling. It´s forbidden in a lot of countries.

no experience but i have seen the demo of some vendors selling AI phone operators. i was very impressed. i'm sure it fools a lot of people into thinking it's a real operator.
look up the cold calling laws and make sure you obey. would suck if you call the wrong person who knows you're in violation, and the ftc comes to you demanding to pay a nice big fine. the vendor you buy from may even have a support channel where they can give you a quick rundown on do's and don'ts of legal compliance.

Thats true, I wasnt considering legal issues.

I just looked for it and the fines are from $23,000 per call.

Not a good idea to start cold calling with AI

No, I wouldn't consider hiring an AI cold-caller.

BUT I might consider hiring an AI cold-SMS'er. Particularly if a solid strategy sat behind it.

e.g. I'm a big fan of Dean Jackson's Cheese and Whiskers approach of a brief opening line that is impossible to avoid engaging with.

That particular approach though doesn't need to be AI'd, because it can be scripted instead.

If it's not allowed in your country try to use an Ai to Cold DM your target audience.

That sounds a better idea.

Do you know hot to DM in bulk? Normally it's restricted and not an easy task.

Most people outsource this to other countries where the laws aren't so stringent. The conversion rate on AI calls are lower too so I would only use it as the first part of a warm up.
Funnel them from there with personalized outreach.

I've spent most of my adult life cold calling into small, medium and multi national companies at the VP+ level.....

Bots, Ai....whatever you want to call them can't engage and respond as a human and never will be will be able to do so in the near future....

You need rapport for one thing, an off the script comment for example that connects with that individual at the human level, that comes with experience - tonality, instinct etc (no bot can do this...yet) but also following through with with life experience examples that relate is something no machine can do - follow up questions that relate, empathy, humour or self depreciation - traits that no bot currently has....

Then you need to go back and pitch, build more report, respond, objection handling etc etc etc.....

humans need a human touch.......might change in the future, but for now hire someone who knows their shit and can get results instead of pissing off a huge list of leads......

just my very brief, without much thought pounds worth (in the UK so no 2 cents from me)......opinion

Hiring an AI cold caller can be a compelling option for businesses, depending on their specific needs and goals.

In some countries (including the US) robotic calling is considered illegal and AI might fall in that category too. Also, AI just don't sound like a good option to outreach

Depends on the niche.. I wouldn't cold call with ai to attempt to close them, but i would use Vapi ai to qualify leads... seems like a no brainer..

I used automated systems to cold call customers. Despite a large number of tests, I failed to achieve a result that would at least somehow correspond to the conversion rate created by a human.

In general, at the moment such services look like a way to make money on the hype around networks.

Probably, in the future, when speech synthesis reaches a high level and you accumulate a sufficient number of dialogs with operator conversion, it will be possible to apply something of this kind.

You can try an autocall with a normal voice message recorded by you personally or by an actor. It is common to use speech recognition to track response to an offer and segmentation. However, this shows very low conversion rates even on quality bases.

If you need money here and now, the best option is to find a professional who will work for a percentage of your services. Of course, it is not easy to find such a person, but the method of selection it is achieved in the foreseeable future.

I can only tell you what those AI calls are like to the receiving party: they’re really shit.

I have not seen tools developed enough to make them sound natural so I think it may not give the right results

I don't think AI can ever excel in that part, and i bet the conversion rate will be very low. Between it is considered illegal in some countries. Instead of cold calling, you can automate cold email
