Would you get rid of your biggest competitor?

Imagine if you could simply stop them from competing in your niche (for example by banning their account if its on social media). Would you do it, if:
- they make their living from it, but its theoretically justified (break some TOS or similar)?
- they dont make their living from it, but its undeserved?
- you suspect theyre trying to do it to you but cant be sure of it?
- its the previous 2 cases combined?

Trying to destroy other businesses isn't even a practical way of making money. If you're shitty at internet marketing you're going to be shitty at internet marketing even if you somehow managed to put them out of business without getting sued into the ground.

Thanks for all your opinions. My actual situation is as follows: My competitor is openly breaking the platforms TOS, while Im doing nothing wrong. Im pretty sure its him whos trying to get me banned for no other reason than that im competition. Were both not making money from it (im on my way to setting it up). Ill see how it plays out, i just hope i dont get banned for no reason.
