I've bought a couple of expired domains to 301 them to niche related sites that I have. I've now realised that some of the have some spammy backlinks?. Would you disavow them?If you say yes, in which domain should I disavow them (I mean, for example i've bought domain zzz that is now 301 to domain yyy, in which search console should i disavow the backlinks?)

make GSC account for old domain u just bought , then disavow links , then redirect them in GSC also to you money site domain

I would simply not 301 an expired domain to my main site if it had spammy links. It's a bad idea.

"redirect them in GSC also to you money site domain" why should i do that?

i think you should disavow the spammy backlinks in the google Search Console of the primary domain (the domain to which the expired domain is redirected)

I'm not sure but I remember that Google explained the disavow tool will be disabled.

There are some factors you need to consider,

First, how do you measure those backlinks as spammy? Are these just random url or do they have a solid website structure. Are these coming from random auto generated pages? etc

If yes then disavow would be a better decision. I would recommend to check by yourself whether they are spammy or not. (if these are less in quantity)

Install GSC on expired domain you bought.
Disavow
wait for few days.

Redirect.

I'd disavow them. Do it in the GSC of the main site you're redirecting to, as the link juice flows there.

Personally, I would not buy an expired domain with spam links unless it was less than 5% spam and the rest were good links.

You should remove the spammy links from the expired domains you’ve bought, not from your old domains. Go to the Google Search Console for the expired domains, collect the spammy links, and submit them for disavowal. You can also submit those spammy links in the disavow file for your niche-relevant domains as an additional precaution.
