Would you borrow up to $30,000 for college. The degree I'd be getting is Bachelor of Science in Computer Science: Information Assurance.
I already have an Ass. Management Information Systems so it would only take 2-3 more years for me to get the Bach.

I'd be doing IM and other offline stuff while in school to pay back loan.

So, want to know from experienced minds... Would you take the student loan in this case?

Do you think you would pay back loan? if you have believe on you then you should.

College loans are definitely something that you could use not just to fund your college years but also help kickstart your IM career :)

As long as your comfortable about the repayments (Make sure you'll be able to cover them) then i don't see why you shouldn't!

All the best dude.

if ur realy smart ud make like 100k$ with that using PPC..lol...in like less than 1 month...but hey i guess "Education" is more important..hehe

Well.if i were you i'd jump at it.30k can make you very rich if you do the right things with it.and when i say the right thing, i mean (optimal utilization of your money as a slave).
That 30k is your best bet to get money as employees under you, working tirelessly day and night while you sleep and while you flex.
You are on your way to wealth the day money becomes your slave.
If you take the loan, i advice you to go read this book
RICHEST MAN IN BABYLON
Before you even as much as touch the money.
I wish you good success in whatever you decide man.

I'd go for it. Computer Science is one of the few fields that is unaffected by the economy. Assuming you want to get a compsci job (even if you have later plans of doing stuff on your own) you should have no problem making back that $30,000 just over the first couple years of having a job in the field.

Would I...personally, no. So many times you hear people struggling to pay back student loans, and it just takes over their life completely. I myself would "take a break" and find ways to make money via IM, seeing as though you are on this site for a certain reason. Then hopefully you find a good enough method or two to at least bring down the total amount you might need to borrow so you are not staring at $30K.
