Lately I have been thinking about an idea to hide the referrer from your CPA network. It goes like this:

Situation
Lets say you are promoting CC deals through gumtree/craigslist or some other service they dont like. You want your leads to go directly to the offer page of the CPA network.

What do you do
You make a landingpage just for fun: comparetheseCCdeals.com or something. make it look like you are promoting this CC deal through this legit.

Coding
What you do on this landingpage is u use a php script like this.

If variable $referral is gumtree redirect them directly to the CPA network offer. If variable $referral is blank do nothing and stay on the landing page.

Posting gumtree/craigslist or in your autoresponder
The link you post in your email / or message on gumtree/craigslist will be
compaparetheseCCdeals.com/index?referrer=gumtree
Conclusion
This way all visiters through this link will go to your landingpage and will directly be referred to the offer without them knowing it. CPA neworks will see your landingpage as the referrer and if they go to your landingpage they will see just a normal landingpage because they wont have the variable set to gumtree.

Will this work?

Search for fake referrer 10000 results will help you.

Yes, this method would work. Check out the CPA-Framer threads from Brad to get an idea of how this might work.
