Would this social networking strategy work?

I've been thinking about doing this for some time. I thought about using Jarvee for this, but I could use another bot. The basic concept is that I would have one main account. This account would use my residential IP. I would use the bot to run accounts that follow and repost content. I'd use them to repost my content and randomly others as well. I'd do this to get followers to my main account. I wouldn't care if these other accounts got banned since they aren't really important.

I thought about doing this with Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest. Would my good account be safe? No bots would ever touch it or proxy IPs. Basically I want my good account to build up followers without having to do the follow/unfollow method using it. Since this account would be important.

If I say, "it's not going to work" you are going to believe me? Implement to see if it works, if it doesn't work you will learn something new for sure.

I think i can work but it would be hell to manage all those accounts

i did this but people are too dumb to follow the main "good" account 99% of the time. They will just spam your bot accounts with offers and its a pain to go through each account to see whos interested. Would it work? sure but not worth the time or effort.
