Would this PPC method work?

I've been brainstorming with several different things, and one idea caught my attention.

It's like this, everyone says PPC is like gambling because you never know if the people clicking you ad, only 50% or 25% or 10% or 5% or none would complete your offer, buy your product or whatever, so I've been thinking about if there is some kind of advertising method that would pay everytime someone clicks your ad, and I thought PPV does that, if someone clicks my ad it will count as 1 impression, so I would eliminate the risk factor.

The question is PPV companies payout is very low, I don't have the correct numbers, but let's assume for each 1000 impressions you would get $10, that mean $0.01 per impression, now here is where my question comes in, is there any kind of PPC company that allows you to pay for instance $0.001 per click or lower, if that is possible then you would be making 10x your initial investment with virtually 20 mins work.

Any comments on this?

and I thought PPV does that, if someone clicks my ad it will count as 1 impression

Um, no. With PPV, when your ad pops up (or under), THAT counts as an impression and costs you money.

I think you might be misunderstanding what PPV is, or confusing it with PPC programs like adsense or the one that Adbrite offers.

PPV traffic companies don't pay you. There is no payout. You pay them for targeted contextual traffic by bidding on keywords, URLs or a combination of both.

Maybe your talking about something completely different and I'm just not getting it.

I got it now, I was mistakenly under the impression that there were some PPV programs that payed you for publishing their ads in your sites.

But concerning my second question, is there any minimum value that PPC companies allow you to pay per click, or can I virtually pay for instance $0.000001 per each ad clicked?

There might be. Don't discount the possibility just because I don't know about it.


There will be a minimum bid with adwords and yahoo search marketing. Not sure abouit MSN. The minimum will be based on which keywords you are bidding on. You can expect to start out upwards of .05 per click with any PPC network. With adwords, expect to pay more.

Thanks for the prompt answers, either way if there was such a PPV program I couldn't apply this method since it would only work if I could pay any unlimited low value per click, well guess if it was possible someone had figured it out already.

regardless, if the traffic doesn't convert its garbage they wont keep buying the garbage traffic

they have to make money ,
