I was just thinking about ways to monetize movies on youtube with a CPA locker, and I thought, what if you uploaded half of a full length movie, and left a link in the description to "part 2" of the film, which takes them to a link locker, which if they complete the survey or whatever is required, they get directed to part 2 on youtube which is set to "private".

Would that work? Or are people too smart for this?

it would probably work IF you get it to stay on YouTube longer than 30 minutes. You'll likely get a copyright infringement strike

I thought of that. There are ways to avoid that, you can add a background image, alter the film/audio quality etc. If you look on youtube there are many movies that were put on there over a year ago with several hundred thousand views.

I never tried that but i may. You're right, there are lots of full length movies on youtube.. there's a way to avoid copyright strikes. It's definitely profitable

I'm going to try movies tomorrow with my unused accounts, ill let you know what happens :)

how can i bypass copyright? any suggestions?

why don't you split the movie in two part and upload both part on your site and put a lock on part 2? isn't it more reasonable?

The whole point is to use Youtube to get the traffic to watch part one.

You could make this work. It's just a matter of getting past the copyright strikes (They will come, even if the system doesn't detect it - you'll get some videos shot down by manual detection) and convincing people they are actually going to get the other half of the movie. I was streaming a movie one time on one of the random shifty sites and they did this. It directed me to the "Free Trial" to "unlock" the rest of my movie.

You can't upload copyright movie to Youtube and get away with it. It never work. Sooner or later you will get banned.

Read my earlier post. There are many full length movies that were uploaded over a year ago that are obviously still uploaded, with hundreds of thousands of views.

Minimize the video and add a background image. This can be done with Adobe Premiere Pro, which you can get a free trial of.

minimize to have a border? i tried zooming + trimming the end + add some little background noise to the video, still detected by the copyright guys

I haven't tried this before It's only hypothetical, but the fact that there are videos that do pass the copyright check is proof that it is doable. Just keep trying different things with one film, and when you find something that avoids the copyright detection, your work is done and you can apply it to all your movies.
