^ Exact Searches

Position 1 will give me around %40 of all the searches so..
45.000 = 18.000
18.000/30 (Month) = 600 Visits per Day
With an average CTR of %20 that would get me around 100/120 Clicks per day
With a CPC of $2 per click that would mean $240 per day... and around $7k per month.

Keyphrase is = keyword + keyword

Competition seems kinda tough but most of the websites are bbc,yahoo,aol,cnn etc...

Me wondering about the same thing. :rolleyes: And what makes you pretty sure that you are going to get 20% ctr and 2$ CPC. But i can never assure myslf that yes, this click is going to get me 4$.

Im assuming a %20 CTR because thats what I get 9 of 10 times with new websites
and im assuming $1/2 taking in consideration that the top CPC is $5, $1/2 seems like a good number to me

CPC is not correct. Just assume it's 10% of the CPC they give. Than 20% CTR is really high. This could be a good keyword, but you should also be sure that people are not just looking for a small article about this. Make sure there are products for this keyword, so people will click the ads.

Competition looks quite hard yes. I'd suggest you don't use Traffic Travis by the way, it's really bad. Either invest in Market Samurai or do everything manually.

I wouldn't recommend counting on earnings estimates calculated from the G keyword tool. Unless you're experienced and know how that data can vary, along with clickthrough rates, and estimated CPCs. Once you've already done a few campaigns like that, then you can make realistic estimates based on what you know.

The only way your going to know for sure if it is viable is to get off your ass and do it. Nothing ventured nothing gained. If you weren't sitting on the fence about this you wouldn't be asking others what they think.
