I live in country where prostitution is legal. I would like to create a website with map where people will be able to do 2 things. First is that people would be able to mark where they found or where they can find prostitutes. The other thing is that they will be able to mark where they noticed police.
Would that be illegal or getting in trouble with law because of this?

Not afraid. Those would be 2 different, not related sections of website. I'm wondering if I would get in trouble because my website is providing those information: where are prostitutes in city and on the other hand where is police currently in city
 
Very difficult to answer this question,you need to ask an attorney about it before making the site to be on the safe side as it depends on your country laws.
 
Just cz you make a site for prostitutes and their locations don't means you do support such job :D

It's a risky subject. Talking to an attorney is a good option in this case.
 
The prostitution thing is fine, but the police thing is most likely illegal...
 
I just can't figure it out why it would be illegal to mark on maps where someone is locating. There are hundreds of plice scanner apps
 
If you want to mark the police location like in Waze (Waze Social GPS) you can do it! It's not illegal.

I think you should check local laws. Also, the hookers in The Netherlands wouldn't very much like to be tracked for example. Even though the profession is legal they are still in hiding and can certainly do without locators I think. The cops can be traced real time it seems according to my five minute search. In The Netherlands you are allowed to receive any signal you are able to, you may not interfere with it though. Cops seem to have avls, a real time locator. But again, you should check local laws.

Where prostitution is legal , indicating position of them should be legal.But indicating the location of Law enforcing member could be troublesome.
 
I suggest that to avoid conflict with your local authority, consult with a lawyer first. There might be problems on either side, the prostitutes and that of the police.
 
I don't see why it should be illegal to indicate position of an unknown person and after 12 hours or so reset location to null. It is not tracking of a person but just using map to find or avoid "service" easily.
 
How do you plan on monetizing the site? I ask because that would address your potential risk factor.
 
You should be good as long as its legal in the place you do it and thats the only place you advertise in
 
You can probably make lots of money selling the maps like Disneyland maps in some places... I don't think you should have a problem, but if it's something you could go to jail over then it's probably best to consult a lawyer. Most countries' laws are available publicly.

Your local laws will be the guiding light here, but off hand I will bet that iin most places alerting people to the location of police could get you hit for interfeering with the law (at the light end) or arrested for being an accomplice to murder if one of your readers decided to go attack a cop and found them from your website.(in a worst case scenario)

The more sensible thing to do is start a site that allows prostitutes to post their schedule, rates, photos, and specialties for a fee, and change potential johns a fee to access the site and find a "date".

Sort of prostitution lead generation as it were.

Leave the cops out.
 
Name it like as an Escort site and let the pros run through your site imo
 
I have no clue what the laws are in your country. But, I think you're going about the escort thing all wrong. You should be promoting harm reduction and finding pussy on the curb is not promoting harm reduction. You should make a directory sort of website where the bitches can add their profile and men and look them up. They then contact the girl's agency and after a month they pay you to keep their listing.
