So I am trying to decide if this would be considered by a CPA network as incentive or not.

If you ask your traffic and/or site members to complete a "sponsors" survey (CPA Offer) to help the continual growth of your website? I mean after all isn't that what majority of online advertising is anyways?

Or Phrased like this.. "Thank's for being a member of XYZ, Please help us continue to provide you with yada yada content. Simply enter your zipcode on our sponsor page to Help xyz.com and Even get a Chance to get A $1000 Bestbuy Giftcard!"

Would that be considered Incentivized traffic? Or is that fair game for all offers unless stated?

I don't think so, cuz the're not forced to do the offers.

You aren't promising them anything in return for completing your survey. So you're good to go.

I think you should be ok, however some AM could se it as incentive. You cant be 100%.

if it was an adsense ad, you'd be banned for telling visitors to click it, since the 'genuine interest' component isn't there.

but since its a cpa... it'll probably be different for each network depending on their policies.

ya agreed, adsense would have definately banned you. But don't add the "You can win something" thing. that is definately incentive

Thanks guys, I decided to double check with the AM so we can be certain. I will post her response once I get it.
