Would this be a good backlink strategy?

Right, so I know that google can see your backlink footprint, and this is most notably from link wheels, I was thinking whats the best way to get natural looking backlinks.

I have been using Link pyramids mostly and thought, it's a little silly having "one colour" layers of links, for example, web 2.0s - layer 1.... sb blast - layer 2... and so on... I was thinking you can do the same thing but mixing it up a bit... I call it.. cross layered link pyramid

So if you were to have 5 link types for example...
A - blog posts
B - blog comments
C - wiki links
D - web 2.0s
E - profile links

Now I am thinking of making mixed up pyramids using these types..

this is a very general link structure I am thinking of using, obviously I have been tweaking it to make it more effective, and 5 layers may be alot, but you get the idea..

B C D E A - Layer 5
C D E A B - Layer 4
D E A B C - Layer 3
E A B C D - Layer 2
A B C D E - Layer 1

High PR network (to boost it further)

What do you think guys? Would it work well? (especially if its contextual! )

And you can have a much more spread out version of the this:

A - blog posts
B - blog comments
C - wiki links
D - web 2.0s

this way, each trunk of links will be different to the next, making Google all confused and saying its totally natural

It's funny I was thinking about this today. The problem is that most software out there can't handle this yet like Senuke... It would cost a lot of money and effort to get something like this going, not to mention that we can't be sure whether there is an advantage or not...

you could do this with senuke, just not in one single shot
and it sounds like a great idea - test it out and let us know

You see, I have been thinking of all the types of links that are out there, these are the easiest to create and most natural looking, so mixing them up properly would be the best way to make Google believe it's real. I would find it hard to think Google could see the foot print.

I am thinking they don;t even need to be pyramids, they're effectively just... boxes (or strings or trunks).

I don't know any software that can do it as of now, but I think it can be done soon.. I need to think about it more..
