Would appreciate something from the mods about why BHW is going down so much. Many of us have paid in various ways for use of the site, as well as regularly via the service threads and it's incredibly annoying to find the site down every other day, in some cases for hours. Could you please let us know what exactly the issue is, and whether it's going to be sorted? With thanks....

Ya I was wondering the same too. Is this forum going to shits or what? I think theres another recent thread where people are thrashing on this subject.

i think some DENIAL OF SERVICE ATTACKS are going between leading forums
 
Main this is we need communication. Everyone understands if there's some upgrading or whatever, but just tell us!
 
i think damien posted something about the downtimes one or two weeks ago.
and he said it is because of upgrades and not because of DDoS attacks.

We always preach better communication to the service sellers here in the BST section, when things go wrong.

It should be practiced by the forum admins too.
 
dont start saying its due to DOS attacks when it isnt.

The admins made a massive sticky i believe about this that there are some great improvements coming to this forum and of course, those updates take time and testing which in some cases will lead to the odd bit of down time.

I dont mind when the site is down because i know it will be back up better than ever and it gives me the time to implement more stuff i have read on BHW.

Just take the down time as a bonus break as many of us cant pull ourselves away from this forum
 
Seriously.. it was terrible for the past few days.. may be server issues or some kind of dos attack..
 
It could have been better if the admins put a front page saying its down for maintenance and will be back in xx hours.

That would stop people refreshing the page couple times a minute, and admins can work on the things better.

Just a suggestion though :)
