Theoretical question. If I were to send unique traffic to a web page using a referrer from a google search url, would that impact the rank of that page in anyway? For example if I sent traffic to abc which specialized in paper towels, and I forged the referring url as "google/?gws_rd=ssl#q=paper+towels", would that do anything to improve/impact the page's rank for the term paper towels?

Another example would be: Users search for paper towels and xyz is listed first, but everyone clicks on abc which is listed 2nd. At some point, does abc move up because of popularity?

Let's assume that abc is using google analytics. Is analytics data used at all in ranking a page/site and if so, can it be manipulated?
