Would following/unfollow affect negatively an Instagram store?

Do you think it really might affect considerably my business?
I mean, some potential clients could see what I'm doing and get angry with it.

Your instagram store is already marked as a commercial presence, so you're already being throttled for commercial traffic. Following / unfollowing aggressively will only raise more flags. IG and Facebook detect commercial intent and want to make money off of it.
