would faking the referrer work?

Hi I have a question, so one of the offers I am currently promoting does not allow me to use their product name in anyway...course I bought a domain awhile ago before I knew that I couldn't use their product name in my domain....so can I still use my domain if I fake the referrer to another site?

basically this seems confusing to me even when i'm typing it out

i promote PRODUCT I get a domain that is like PRODUCTREVIEW.COM
they tell me I can't use the name PRODUCT at all so now I can I build that site up and fake the referrer to another site? or should I just toss the idea all together?

It depends on the network and what type of numbers your doing. If your moving peanuts they might not even check your traffic out. If your moving some so-so numbers, a typical reffer fake should do. If your moving some BIG money then they are going to be all over you looking for a reason to not pay you. Anyway, I've been running some BH traffic for a while now using fake ref and so far, so good.

so even tho they say I can't use their trademark product name it would still be okay if I fake the referrer and there was no leak?
