Would appreciate an advice

Hello guys,
I was an active reader here in this Instagram section about 6-7 months ago when i was struggling to earn from Instagram by different methods. No one of them finished good for me and the biggest problem was lack of consistency, but I do not regret all the reading as I learned a lot of stuff!
Now i came up to the moment where i got an idea for a online shop here in my country related to healthy eating and healthy lifestyle. I would like to create a instagram account and grow it, I know "basic" things, but i really haven't followed the instagram scene for a while, will appreciate every minute you spend to give me an advice how should I do it properly. Should I pay for mother and child service?
Is instagram algorithm still working the same? How much times in a week do you recommend a post for the product that i will offer?

Basically all kind of info will be valuable for me, so thank you very much in advance for your time!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if the methods you tried 6-7 months ago did not finish good for you then it's definitely not going to be any easier now.

That being said it's more than possible and most of the same old methods still work but for the most part at a slower rate.

I would start with a simple (slow and relatively safe) like / follow / unfollow to initially grow your main account whilst setting up your own mother / child setup, especially if your shop idea is specific to your country.

Initially keep the amount of promotional posts to a minimum whilst growing your account and then slowly introduce them once you've got some solid engagement.

It's a long road though and consistency really is key. I wish you the best of luck with your venture!

Thank you very much for detailed answer. I know that it will be a long road and I am mentally prepared for this. I thought to pay for mother and child service as I won't have the time to make a farm, also there are a lot of things that has to be learned in order to do it, I would like to focus on improving my product instead of this. Do you think that follow/unfollow from main account won't "harm" it, because as long as I know instagram algorithm does not treat good follow/unfollow accounts or I am mistaken?

I suggest stick to M/S and let the slave drive the traffic to main account since it is the best/safest method if done properly. But if you want faster route through F/U on main account then you should laser targeted your main audience

If the budget is not the limit then why not ? The method still working if we do it carefully with less action compared to 6 months ago

What do you mean why not? You're really going to recommend a newbie such a complex thing as M/S knowing well that it's not working well right now?

The safest method is of course mother / slave. It's also a lot more resource intensive and complex to run in general and especially if you want the same results as follow / unfollow.

For example, I have accounts that I have run for a long period of time doing heavy liking, following & unfollowing and only fairly recently taken them off all automation to just post quality content. These accounts are now growing organically at 100-200 followers a day with good engagement. These are niche accounts so you shouldn't expect quite the same results but it doesn't seem that F/U hasn't done any longterm harm to them.

I'd say use one of the manual growing services if you are gonna grow only a couple of accounts.

Laser target your followers, engage with unique content + do proper hashtag reearch and find low comp hashtags to hit explore frequently

Much better than growing an account to 10k or even 50k and then waking up one day to see its all gone

I cannot say that I am complete newbie, i was trying back then to make it work with M/S, read a lot of info about it, but i still couldn't get it to work, now i just won't have chance when things are even harder. So i must say that you are very right here seems like it will be the best to avoid it.

Thank you very much on your feedback about that, seems like what i read wasn't true. Do you have any tips on organic grow except that content is the king which is pretty "obvious" for someone even with a little experience with Instagram.

Thanks for your answer! That's what i think will be the best to do in this case. What do you think about having 3 accounts at all, 2 childs and my main. On childs i'll be just reposting content, because it will be a lot of work to create content for them too and i rather spend it on improving product and services. I will redirect followers from childs to my main where i'll be posting the unique content.
By your opinion what number is optimal for hashtags under each post? Do you think that it will be good idea to have for example 15 hashtags 5 of them with high number of posts and rest less competition or just focus at using all low competition hashtags?
