Hi there,
I've written a blog post (with my poor English sorry) about a common SEO problem, and I need any idea to help me make it better. The basic idea is that a website sends a lot of signals, some are good and other are negative. Negative signals not necessary leads to a penalty or something like that, but getting more and more of these bad vibes leads a lot of websites to stop performing or to never perform with search engines.

These are the first 6 bad signals I discussed and I would be happy if you can tell me about other signals that I may add on the post:

#1 SEO Malus: The “no reason” backlink pattern
when you start a new link building campaign while nothing was happening to your website for a while

#2 SEO Malus: The “perfectly on-topic” backlinks
When all your backlinks comes from same-topic pages (in many cases it looks so unnatural for my opinion)

#3 SEO Malus: Full Keyword Distribution
When every page of your website targets a well-chosen keyword.

#4 SEO Malus: The 500 words Symptom
When almost of your web pages have approximately the same length

#5 SEO Malus: The perfect image alt attribute:”always”
When you systematically add your main keyword in the alt attribute of the first image

#6 SEO Malus: The unidentified flying title
When your brand name doesn't appear in the title tags, when it appears only in the home page title for example

I discussed all of these "bad signals" and then I tried to discuss some good practices to avoid them. I will be very happy to get any helpful idea to add other signals and best practices to the blog post.

I have two more "maluses":

- The night Malus - when u built backlinks and is night outside.
- The pee Malus - when u really have to pee but u hold it in because building backlinks is important.

These two are the worst.

You forgot one more malus:

When all your links are from PBNs that have blocked all crawlers.

You forgot one more. When you have already had a few beers and you are not concentrating well. You buy a pint from the bar, and because the glass is wet and the lack of grip you use to pick it up, you only semi pick it up before it slips out your hand and goes everywhere.

One more new guru in the market yipeeee.

No, come on man please don't tell me that! Have you seen the tool I m sharing for free on the website. I just want to share stuff don't be severe like that please :)

A method related malus:

- when u try porn reupload method but u end up covered in jizz and crying in a corner of ur room.

I'm sorry you are being ridiculed, but the truth is, your article is full of unsubstantiated claims. I have been in SEO for almost 20 years now and the only of your "maluses" I can subscribe to is unnatural links as that's the only one that can get you in trouble. The rest is just to frighten people with theories you cannot prove are true.

Yes, i feel they having fun of me, but I don't feel I m being ridiculed at all. Now about the claims in my article, i wrote "that for my opinion can trigger bad SEO Signals". Of course you are free to don't subscribe to some of my claims, but all the things I talk about are the fruits of my own experience. Of course it's not the absolute truth.

The rest is just to frighten people with theories you cannot prove are true.

I didn't know that blogging is like being in front of a court of justice when you need to prove that you're saying the truth... come on and take it easy. Anyway I well understood the message guys. You catched me 1 time, this will not going to happen 2 time

Ok, I don't know if you realize, but (unlike most other people on this thread) I'm actually trying to help you...

You asked how could you make your article better and to add more "maluses". My honest opinion is that the only way to make the article better is to rewrite it from scratch by scrapping most of your "maluses" and replacing them with things that are actually true.

Yes, you are absolutely entitled to your own opinion and you are totally free to share it with others on your blog. But, unless you can support your claims with data, the value of your statements is very close to zero.

Btw, one thing you already achieved is #1 in Google for "SEO maluses". Congrats! :)

Ok, so I m trully sorry for all what I've written here, and thank you for your kindness.
