This is definitely not something that BHW would approve of. I highly suggest not doing this either. I have seen contacts get brought to small claims court or get a small scale libel suit brought down upon them, irregardless of who was in the wrong.

Personally, I don't see what you achieve from this.
At the end of the day you want to get your money back. It looks like you used Paypal and for a business transaction, so I would think you have a good chance to recover what is owed to you.
The more people that raise the issue with Paypal, the higher the chance that you will get a refund and @SnowMyLife will get blocked from Paypal. This is far more beneficial that messaging all his friends on Facebook.

You can call Paypal
They still have a facility to dispute even if its friends n family payment but you have to call... just mention you meant to send it as a commercial payment
if you put any notes or if there was a website URL this would strengthen your ability to convert to claim

In that case I don't see what's wrong with contacting people on fb to be cautious of him. Seems like the right thing to do to prevent others from being scammed.

I'm not saying it's wrong, but I think you will have a far greater effect by taking away his tools to scam people (PayPal/Facebook etc). I would report him on every single platform he's using to contact people and take payments.

OP, it's better way that you can call Paypal people and tell them that it happened mistakenly to you. You have to pay through services but you clicked on friends and family. They will tell you the process how to make dispute just you need to send them some proofs which shown that you paid him on a legit way.
