Worst Loss You've Recorded

Wow, I thought mine was bad. I got scammed out of $500 by an instagram scammer.

around 6k$ cryptos. I was not late to the game but my investment strategy was sh*t so...

Oh boy, I really don't know where to start!
I have been losing all my life and now I started to see a bit of success!

TO EVERYBODY: PLEASE FIND JOY IN DIFFICULT TIME and that will help you a lot!
A part of my success was from this community! Thank you BHW. before 7-9 months I was bankrupt and had 00.00 money then thanks to bhw pieces of information I got 7usd then from that 7usd I started growing and arrived where i am today.

don't give up just stay focused.

There are plenty of people on the forum that commented on how many millions in crypto they had at one time.....Maybe you should be asking them
Not millions, but I bought REQ in 2017 at $0.05, watched it go to $1.20, got greedy, didn’t sell. Saw the bubble burst, was in denial and held, finally sold with only a little profit.

Technically not a loss because I still made money, but at some point I had 24x that money. So it kind of feels like a loss

I bought just before everything kicked off at $13 for Eth and 1.1k for Bitcoin and sold at the peak. So on paper I did really well but in all honesty I screwed up big time and it was all just luck anyway.

The only reason I put money into it in the beginning was because I had several thousand in cash in the house and a retaliative with sticky fingers staying with us. I didn't want to put said money in the bank so I had only one other option. So because because of that thieving family member I made 20k lol. True story!

Had I not messed about with it and left it putting it into a bunch of shitcoins and left it in just Ether I would have walked away with hundreds of thousands, but instead I tried to play a game that I had no idea how the rules worked and made just some money by accident instead of hundreds of thousands, c'est la vie.

So don't feel bad, I think most of us did the same thing :)

My worst loss was not capitalizing on IM in the 2013-2016 period, when I had the perfect conditions to do so. Keeping all eggs in one basket and thinking that something will last for a long time was a mistake that I will never ever repeat. A huge loss of time and potential money - though an important lesson learned!

Hahaha, thanks to your relative :D Ah yeah, the shitcoin gambling. 2017 was a fun year! I'm still kicking myself because I knew about Crypto in 2013 already, even bought Dogecoin in 2014 (no idea why I didn't buy Bitcoin lol). Forgot aubout the Dogecoin until 2017, made 60 bucks :D Not much, but I still was happy when I found it on my wallet after all these years. Syncing the blockchain alone took over a day.
A lot of fun (and some sad) stories. It was a wild ride.

500K, frikin wallstreet, going all in with zero experience, longing and shorting using 10x that amount from the broker, over 8 months...... was going to end life..... but decided it aint worth it, it happened for a reason.... started a diet, did other drastic things to supress the loss, could not stop thinking about it.... here i am about a year later, and just moving ahead, but i cannot stop looking back, it hurts too much, it was $ that was earned with sweat and a lot of hard work....... to lose it so fast and so nasty is just........................

Damn, and here I thought I had it bad. Realizing how "lucky" I've been.
Lost about $30-40k due to shitty partners, scammers and services that haven't worked

$1.2M, 9 years, relationship, and sanity on a brewery.

Stick with online investments. Much less chaos.

i think online highest was about $33k to bitconnect if i recall correctly a bitcoin lending platform but i manage to withdraw about $6k just 2 hours before they shut the platform. and ran

In the ballpark of 50k to wall street. I was up at one point 120k but ended up losing it all. Still paying for it.
Lost another 16k on rare coin investment.
Another 12k on a coding bootcamp. what a joke that was. Still paying for it.
