Worn-out old dog trying to learn online tricks

Hello everyone!

I'm more or less newbie, having only some basic knowledge of AM and other forms of online businesses from couple years back and being around the computers for all of my life.
Didn't have enough time to build my online business back then, because I was knee-deep in offline work, but now I'm currently without work and spend too much time online doing anything useful.
And since it's hard to find a job nowadays, I've been trying to figure out how to make living by myself.
Social anxiety and introversion are also main reasons why I'd rather make living online.

This forum seems to have awfully lot of information, hopefully I can absorb some of that into my thick skull.
And hopefully I have something share in the future instead of asking stupid questions and leeching information.

Oh, there are so many areas of interest. The amount of information is overwhelming.
At the moment I'd say drop-shipping sounds really interesting, but I'm open to anything I can start on a shoestring budget.
All kinds of systems that you can automate in the future are also interesting.
I studied computer science ages ago, but after I dropped out, I have almost completely forgot how to code (and it was Turbo Pascal and C++ back then...) and I've got a lot to learn.
I have the will to learn and succeed, I'm not afraid of hard work, but I haven't really tested the waters.

On the background I have some offline sales and marketing, but lately I've been doing accounting and administrative stuff, so I have to hone the rust out of my skills again. The basics are still there and I'm still a fast learner.
In a perfect world I'd probably be a professional writer but a) [offline] there isn't enough market in my small country (~5 million people) b) [online] I'm insecure of my English skills.

Anyways, It just seems there's so many opportunities that I don't know where to start and I'm a total newbie when it comes to grey hat or black hat stuff. I think I need to learn how to make and use stealth accounts and so on.

And like I said in my first post, I suffer from social anxiety and I'm quite introverted person, so I'd like to find a method where I can run the things from the background. So things like making a living with YouTube videos etc are out of question.

Yeah, those are the main sections I've been reading since I found this forum 4 days ago.
The amount of information is just so huge I don't know where to focus, but I guess it comes clearer in time.
