Hey guys,

I'm new to the Pinterest marketing platform and was hoping if you could help me out. How do I promote my website using Pinterest exactly? I've looked around and kind of get the gist of how it works; repins and posting on large boards.

Is it advised to buy repins from those SMM websites?
How does one join large boards?

You can request for an invite. But if instructions for that are not provided, you can contact the group board owner to let them know you want to join. It helps if you tell them why you want to join and what will you pin.

You should add lots of keywords on your content, it increases your exposure on Google.

Pinterest is a site that search engines love. More than Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. YouTube is better but Pinterest is right up there. The great thing is you don't have to do much. Create a bunch of posts, without spamming of course, and your unique content that is loved within the Pinterest community will naturally rank high within the search engines. Just create engaging boards with good descriptions for each post and make sure to write a board description as well. You will see results pretty quickly depending on how active you are. Honestly spend 10-20 minutes a day posting and sharing content and you will rank guaranteed. Maybe not for the big keywords like money, food, health, but you you will definitely rank for long-tail keywords and two word and three word ones most definitely. And you wont have to research them although you can to get a good idea on how formulate your boards.
