Working sms receive service?

Anyone knows of a working sms receive service like textfree or textplus? These aren't working for me. They're not receiving SMS from ICQ. I want to create an ICQ account and they send an SMS. So I need a number to receive the SMS. Preferably, a number that can be mine forever as I want to stick to one number on the ICQ.

Alternatively, is it somehow possible to create an account there without phone number?

Give your own mobile number, where is the prob? If you create an account with some random sms service, someone could steal this account through the account password recovery process. Not suitable for sensitive data.
