I believe its called critical thinking.
Trust but verify.
If you believe anything people say just because they said it and posted pictures you will easily get fooled.

I'm just saying there's enough info in the original post for anyone to make their own judgement if the information is useful or not. I don't need to critique the op's stats or credibility to validate the information

Correct there's enough info for people to make their own judgement.
That's why people used that info, and with their own judgment determined that the 24k links within the info (screenshot) he gave didn't match up with his account of everything.
And you actually do need to critique someone's stats and/or credibility to validate information. If not you're just blindly believing.

that's fair. personally i didn't even look at the screenshot because its not important to me. what is are the parts that resonated with what im doing and that i can validate with my own knowledge and logic

OP will be able to clarify, but I assume he means he has 100 backlinks from unique domains, and 2 of those domains have site wide links which account for the 24,000 links.
They must be two large sites though to give 24,000 links.

I did share that in the original post. I mentioned "I've made every kind of backlink". That includes sitewide link exchanges. Not sure what more you want more to say.
Also not worth it in the long run.
Focus can be a pain in the ass for sure haha.

I agree. Lots of people not only provide misinformation on forums but also claim to have found secret ways of "ranking" every other day. I'm not doing either. I'm just providing information I have seen work for me.
That's correct. The website shown above, as of today, has 104 live referring domains through Ahrefs, and over 30,000 "total backlinks". The website isn't in the SEO niche, and has a link exchange from 2 websites that have tens of thousands of pages. Like the other forms of link building I employ, I'll be seeking out another 2-3 sitewide links before finally stopping, which may boost it all the way up to over 50,000 total backlinks. Not that I take "total backlinks" as meaning anything though.

Nofollow links are a part of any natural looking profile.
Because there clearly weren't any page 1 rankings. Mmhmm.
As someone else said, using this method are the majority of your backlinks no follow? Could you share your ratio of follow/no follow please? I appreciate the informative post
Around 30% of my links are do-follow.

I think if you have the required patience, seeing good results after only 3 months is well worth it. This is a really good article for anyone just starting out.

The White Hat way is the best way to go these days, it provides long-term results and its search engine friendly. The challenge is the amount of work and the consistency of the method that you are doing. I agree it takes time, but surely, the results will be very good.
The first website that I built was promoted and build up through blog commenting (not the spammy way), regular content posting, and through social media. I saw great results within 6-8 months.

PBN's work great. I have a couple of my own to be honest (however they're still being built. They're all around 1-3 months old and I'm having 2-3 articles posted on each per month to try and build up authenticity. Ain't no spam on these blogs!
Thank you. Anyone starting out should really focus on methods like these instead of the spammy link building services around the web that'll end up punishing them more than helping them.
There are blackhat methods that still work great, however, every so often Google catches on and either devalues the entire link type or penalizes you for having too many of it. That's where natural links come into play - a constant flow of all link types doesn't leave you in the pool with sharks when the theoretical rope gets cut.

My take away is that OP was able to rank based on dripfed forum posts, forum signature links, niche blog comments, and web2.0's alone. With possible add-on's of social networks, social bookmarks, the occasional article directory.
Mind if I ask the competition level of these keywords and their traffic? This seems like pretty quick results, I'm curious to see exactly what kind of competition this moved along.
