Ever since there's been a lockdown here (for 8 weeks now), I've also been working about 7-8 hours on every Saturday. I can't stand just being at home 'because it is weekend' doing fuck all and being useless.

Anybody else doing the same thing?

Exactly the same :D fucc weekends nowadays, I prefer mondays honestly :D

I work on Weekends quite often too.
I don't see a problem with it :o

I work everyday. I mentioned in another thread here that entrepreneurs and freelancers don’t know what the weekend is. We have something to do daily and that’s what keeps us one step ahead.

I usually take the weekends off to think about how to solve problems in projects, the best way to work on it, etc.

Thanks to 2 quarantines within 3 months, I finished my project that I was working on sometimes during year. So, not bad at all.

Most of the weekends, yea. And if I'm not working, I'm doing something else instead like reading or maybe learning something.

Mate, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. It's lockdown, so no fun anywhere so manage it while it last.

I will schedule at least one day a week to forget all the work and enjoy my beer;)

I can totally relate. What I find is normally I’m also working on the weekend, but ata slightly more chilled pace.

The best part about it is that I rarely get calls from clients on the weekend so I can get twice as much done.

What I also find though is when I do manage to take a break from work, I get right out of it then it’s hard to get back into work mode come Monday.

Same for me! Taking more small breaks, putting some good music on my speakers, and playing a game of chess in between :)
