Working hashtag strategy

Why are some people able to use 25-30 and others are getting there posts hidden when they use over 20? Why wouldn't aged accounts with good activity be less likely to be hidden for hashtag spam?

This question has been asked so many times.
Use relevant hashtags on your post(s) only. If you can find 30 use all 30, if you can find only 5 use that ammount...

For the sizes, you should build up a ladder of hashtag sizes (small - mid - big ---- If you want deeper targeting, use more sizings)
Start of the ladder depends on your account and current likes (engagement).

Let's say you are able to rank in 10k hashtags.
Start with 5-10 hashtags in this category, then move on bigger one (the gaps depends on your engagement).
Second category would be hashtags with 10-30k posts.
Third category 30-50k.
Etc...


You shouldn't use hashtags higher than 5M (unless your account is big enough with a great engagement).

Disclaimer: The less posts per day (the hashtag has), the higher chance for you to rank in the top section (some Hashtag research apps have this feature).
