What's the best hashtag strategy to grow an account from 0 these days?

Shall I mix up small hashtags (10k-100k) with big ones (1mln+)? Or use only small ones instead?

Can I use 30 hashtags every single time or it's better to go a bit lower?

Thanks

30 Hashtags are way too much... I even think that IG deletes your posts if you use too much hashtags. I started a new affiliate project a few weeks ago and for growing a related IG account I used around 20 hashtags. They instantly disappeared. Afterwards I reduced the hashtags to around 10 and suddenly the images were posted. There were no differences except the amount of hashtags, so I assume that was the problem.

Make sure the hashtags are related to the account niche and a mix isn't a bad idea. I'm also mixing small and big ones. My latest account from the project I mentioned grow from zero to 1,3k in around 3 weeks or so but additionally to the hashtags I liked / commented on related posts and followed others in the same niche.

IG does not delete your post if you have 30 Hashtags. There are many people who said to put 30 Hashtags, which is the max.

Don't use too many hashtags and use ones which are relevant in post size to the amount of followers you have

use 10-20 hashtags on different posts, keep them relevant and dont use the same set of hashtags. the more you keep changing, the better visibility instagram will give to your posts.

I have been testing but it seems like using 30 hashtags gives me much more reach than when I just use 15-20.

Haven’t really used hashtags lately, had my account blocked before along with my post deleted because of the nonsense going on recently, commenting to stay up to date on this

It depends on the number of likes the main posts get for a hashtag vs how many likes you get on yours.
So you should use hashtags where your average post likes are bigger than those shown.
This will increase your visibility, followers and engagement.
You should also do some research about the hashtags used by the competitors in your niche and apply this criteria to see how far or close you are to get to the explore page.
Repeat this and at some point you'll be able to rank for more competitive hashtags.
.

Use the max possible range you can get. Why should IG set up new rules for the count of hashtags, there is already a limit of 30 hashtags.

So it has nothing to do with the amount of followers? I was splitting the hashtags into groups based on the followers.

Also, it doesn't make any sense to go for mid-top hashtags when you are just starting out and I should focus only of the lowest hashtags (based on likes) ? Or it's good to mix them up?

Definetly better to put just a little bit hashtags.
Btw how do you find the search volum?
Please and thank you?!

15-20 hashtags, evenly mixed between 1K-100K, related or semi-related to your post, otherwise, you can be shadowbanned.

Relate your engagement rate to the number of likes needed to rank for each hashtag. Once you've a bundle your posts can rank for, mix & use over each post(15-20)

Why not slowly build it up, use 5-10 hashtags in the beginning and as the account ages increase it up to 20-30 hashtags.
