Gotta say, after 8 years of working outside its certainly a nice shift in quality of life! ;)
Been looking outside the window and its so windy here and cold (was actually snowing yesterday and its april! WTF) So glad im not out there freezing my socks off!

Work hard peeps, its worth it just for this! Haha

Yeah I'm also working from home and it's great. The bad part is that right now I'm just sitting here, drinking coffee and listening to music. Zero productivity. :D

My primary income comes through my salary, but two things save me :

1. You can't have Snowfall in Kolkata, India
2. I just live in the opposite building where my office is :)

but yeah.. I love the online money that comes for free!!

Well I don't know what to say... maybe it's also depending on the zone climate.. is true that in those days of of winter is better to not get out of the house but in those great days of spring making a drive to your office or from your office can make you clear your mind...., or at least for me it have this effect.....

Having an office is also good for the business image if you must to meat people...

I tried working from home for a year or 2, sucked balls, had to run a place called office every day, sitting on your bed with a laptop all day and all night long is a no no for me, I can't work like that. well at least thats me.

Awe man, I love it. My schedule is entirely mine. I can drink and smoke while I work, watch every episode of every TV show ever made, record some music when I need a break, go for a jog, try out a new restaurant for lunch in a new part of town, work from a random coffee shop... it really doesn't get better than this.

It's all about discipline, though. I've definitely had the days of working in bed all day long and the stretches of not leaving the house for days. A few years ago, Lifehacker really got me into taking control of my willpower and it's still a battle, but in general I'm pretty happy with my life. My friend used to do the same as me and he gave up, sort of the same reasoning as Paranoid Android.

I really believe that it all depends on what you're doing to make money and how much you are willing to sacrifice to get to the good point where you got the money rolling in every day and you got a routine and you're "safe", for lack of a better word.

Yeah the down side is being inside all day but to be fair wherever you work your either stuck in a shop all day, office all day or your somewhere all day.

I make sure i do things in between working online, as i work in stages through the day, some people cant work like this but for me its easy and because its split up it doesnt actually ever feel like a real grind. So id get up in the morning, (i dont have an alarm set but i do try to make sure i get out of bed relatively early) Have breakfast then crack on with work while the TV is on.
Go to the gym most days with the missus, and when shes home we tend to leave the house for fresh air.

However on days like this, its great having the choice to leave the house rather then dragging my ass out of bed putting on tons of layers of clothing and working in horrible conditions!

Give me a cuppa and a laptop in bed anyday:ranger:

working at home is awesome, but also gets to be a pain later, stuff is so distracting at home. So when that happens I go down to the local coffee shop and work while I look at women. ;)

Guys, I want to help my sister who needs to stay at home. Any cool ideas? Thanks!

Once you get burned out, and find yourself doing 30 minutes real work in 10 hours, take a break for a few days.

It's easy to fall into the trap. :)

Must admit the past week ive been struggling to motivate myself so ive been ticking by. Think it might be this diet im on (no carbs) i feel drained all the time!

Oh well its for a 2 week holiday then back to normal!

Keep on keeping on as they say!
