"Work from Home and earn $1000/week" Job Posts on FB.

Hey guys. I hope many of you must have seen this type of posts in multiple FB groups everyday. They usually ask to comment below your country or sometime just 'I am In'.
I would like to know how do this guys monetize? Or is this Just a Scam?

maybe they are trying to sell a course , CPA offer (that is why they asking for the county )

I think some are scams, there's really no way to guarantee you get paid, on the other hand I knew a guy who made money doing this.

Here's how it is done.

That move to get comments is to rank the post higher in the group. Which is just a technique used to spread the reach to the rest of the users of the group.

Next step is sending a PM to each one who comments, some eager people will just text you first, because they want to know too how they can earn money by commenting only their country's name.

The next step is very old. After you get messages, you load them up with some crap.
Ask them their skills, their language proficiency etc. Gain their trust by making them look like you are actually recruiting. Giving them false hopes.

After that, the most popular bait would be asking to confirm their identity. Which is done by making them sign up on SOI or DOI networks.
But people add their own twists to this and scale it.
Posting on multiple groups and sub reddits every alternate day. If you are out of groups, buy a facebook account or create one, you can easily find a lot of accounts lying around in throwbin though. And then repeat the process of recruiting people for a work from home job which pays you 2000$ a week.
