How do you change a wordpress theme page such as the home page? Is that possible because it is annoying bc I can figure it out?

You have to edit the PHP files, if you do not know PHP well then make sure to copy the code before making changes.

One deleted </div> could ruin your site and make you have to install a different theme.

Yup.. the easy way to do it is to find the correct php page under the 'editer' on the side, and ctrl-F to find the code making that text appear on the site. like if you want to take out the date display under the post title on your site, you would delete JUST the code in the <> brackets.

    don't fuck with the <divs>...

In most wordpress themes home page is index.php, so go for it for editing. When editing, delete anything with <>, but dont forget to delete the same with </>. It's a common mistake, just thought is worth mentioning.
