I use wordpress for a (auto) videoblog. I embed videos from youtube. A lot of the embedded videos of youtube don't work in IE 6,7,8. They show a white scare with a red x. Anyone knows how to fix this problem?

Check if your html validate, if not, fix it

    Code:
    http://validator.w3.org
If you dont know anything about html, first you can try with another theme to see if it works

It has nothing to do with the theme ... it is a youtube - wordpress problem I assume.

Do the people seeing your blog have the problem? Usually the red x is due to a cache issue where it's trying to pull from your IE temp files.. maybe use ccleaner and cleanup all your IE temp/files etc.

If it is working fine in Firefox then the issue is with your cache (as mentioned above) or it can be the version of flash you have installed. I remember there being issues with version 10 (I think) That was weeks ago and I installed an earlier version and the problem went away. The new version seems to be working fine though.

To start with you should ask others if they have the same issue when viewing your site, that way you can eliminate it being a coding issue and see that it is just an issue with your specific setup.
