Wordpress Website | Tracking Problems

I have a wordpress website, and there is a big difference in tracking between google analytics and a wordpress plugin tracking. Google analytics is tracking about 10% of what the wordpress plugin is showing. This is a problem.

What do you think? If you have a wordpress site, what are you using for tracking. Do you rely on googles info? What are your thoughts? - Any insight is appreciated.

I always use Google Analytics. However, to this date, I am still not sure what gives you the most accurate number.

The WordPress plugin may also track the bots, crawlers, etc. Also, keep in mind some people use non-trackable browsers (DuckDuckGo, for example).

This looks like an issue in regards to any caching (it might be possible that the analytics code is cached).

Have you installed the original Google SiteKit plugin?

Also what about when i look in the c-panel and i look at 'aw stats'. What do you think? Google Analytics is tracking a lot less, like 10% of what the wordpress plugin is (wp statistics) and what aw stats is showing also... I am not sure if it is bot traffic or not? I see the ips for the different visitors
