Their ShortPixel AI serves the images in relative sizes to the users screensize, therefor smaller images for the users to download = faster speeds .. If I understand your question right. BunnyCDN Optimizer is cheap, if your having loads of visitors, then I would recommend to use that instead of my guide for that one site you have lots of traffic to, but for normal sites, go with my guide.

The problem with this is that you will spend x2 credits: first for the compression with SPIO and second for the CDN delivery with SPAI.
Nevertheless, I think now is a good idea to do it this way because they have recently switched to a model of CDN traffic credits instead of what it used to be (2 credits per serving regardless of the image size).

Personally as I mentioned before I only use SPIO credits for compression and BunnyCDN straight for the images. I've been thinking to switch at some point some of my sites to ARC.IO and see how it goes for the CDN part. I hate to be fully dependent on an adaptive mechanism for the reasons stated before (they tend to fail when it goes a little bit complex)

Yes, but I like BunnyCDN more, so I only use CloudFlare for DNS, as their DNS service is fast.

I am already using bunnycdn with closte via Litespeed cache url mapping and am guessing that I will need two bunny pullzones to pull this off.

exluding image files for the cdn url in LSC thats connected to Rabbit Pull zone 1
.jpg
.svg
.webp
.etc

while using shortpixelai plugin to serve images that connected to Rabbit Pull zone 2

I'm using bunnycdn but I don't think i have properly configured everything.
Any of my images URL are with my custom name "https://images.yourdomain.com/spai", is it normal? Instead the URL are "domain.b-cdn.net/image.jpg". It's not even "imgdomain.b-cdn.net".
Moreover, any of my images are in .webp and i have configured the conversion in spai.

But i do see a much lighter page size and the total of images are /4 !
So i'm really confused about what's going on. I'm pretty sure it didn't work but why my website is so much faster now?
What can i do to make it work?

besides in my bunnycdn admin panel, there are only few requests made with 10.97 KB of Bandwidth Used.
I think i missed something.

I have no credits in my shortpixel account, is it the reason?
i follow your guide over and over and i don't understand why i can't make it work

You can acctually use just ShortPixel AI only now, if you want, since they started using BunnyCDN after I wrote this guide, look here. That may be much easier for you. ShortPixel now give you 750MB of FREE traffic, if you do not have any credits, after that you can buy one-time chunks of traffic from $9.99 for 50GB and up, no need for monthly payments.
 
i'm tired of manually compress and cropping every img before uploading.

how does shortpixel crop your images? if i just upload imges at whatever sizes and ratio, can it crop it to the correct/smart ratio and sizes? does the cropped img look good?

i'm thinking trying image plugin now, too many images to handle.

how does shortpixel online free compress vs tinyjpg btw?
