wordpress v/s html site in google ranking ????

I made 2 websites in same niche for testing. All are same look/graphics/text/keywords in 2 different domains far from same keyword domain(like - niche home design, domain social networking)


First study - make wordpress website with white hat seo low keywords within 4 month it ranks top 10
Second study - make html website with white hat seo low keywords within 4 month it ranks top 109

So I change first website to html & its go back to top 89 in white hat seo low keywords within 1.5 month
& then I change second website to wordpress & its come top 8 in white hat seo low keywords within 17 days

After 2 months I change both website(html to wordpress/wordpress to html) and both website back in thr position wordpress site now stand in top 9 within 24 days, html website rank top 87 with in 26 days

I dont know how it happen.

So does wordpress website rank quickly/good in Google ??

Nice case study. But i think its still depends on your seo. Base on my experience you can even outranked wordpress sites with a single html page.

WordPress ranks better probably because of the outbound links and content (mostly code) in the WordPress files.

Just to clarify, you marked up your own wordpress theme or used an already existing one?

Did you link build structure of html site like wp ?
Did you used any pre made html theme or just plain html ?
Did you created a sitemap for html site ?
was it a real html site or you used a wp to html plugin ?

from my experience , plain simple html site (for micro niche) ranks better then wp , but you will to spend more time in building site and many more things.

Wordpress is no different from HTML for SEO IMHO.There are SEO plugins for Wordpress but they only help you to get things correct, they don't get you a better Google ranking.When you do things correct ,both are the good options.

Wordpress it's just easier to build and do onsite SEO, but you can rank with an html as well as a WP.

I dont use any plug in. I am usinng twenty twelve theme for wordpress & make html site look like exact same. I am using same seo method for both website

After experimentation I think Google favors Wordpress but it also depends on the structure on the HTML.

I hear Google will prefer Wordpress much more than an HTML page, but I have more HTML pages sitting pretty on page 1 than wordpress pages soo...

HTML is much easier. I can make a change in a few seconds and upload it. Wordpress takes to much time but Im getting into a blog network to see if it carries results.
