Some folks don't like to use their own URLs in emails.... particularly if you have a big list.

An option for those cases would be something like:
budurl
linktrkr

(Google both of those.)

These are managed solutions where your link is a subdomain off of their domain so you get the best of both worlds:
A vanity URL for branding purposes
Less exposure for your domain name being caught in spam blockers
