Wordpress UniqueIt! Plugin?

Has anyone tried this? This plugin supposedly leaves the content unchanged to the reader but makes it seem unique to search engines by adding some invisible HTML coding.

I wonder if it works...

I tried it on one of my sites getting about 1000 visits a day... it cut my traffic in half in just about two weeks.

I disabled it my traffic is back to normal.

I think it works better on duplicate content sites with low traffic... that's what I'm going to try on in a week or so anyway.

I think the plugin is called "uniquefier" . While to the visitor the text looks good, to the SE's It basically makes the text unreadable at the source level by inserting a bunch of special characters into the content.

I think the latest version allows you to set text that you do not want to change

I have attached the latest version if you want to play with it. I found it basically useless

This should be on the shit list because this Plug-in sucks. Now the guy has 2.0 or whatever and it sucks like the first version.
 
No this isn't uniquefier, this is something much worse. Just visit the sales page mentioned in the first post and you'll see how bad UniqueIt sucks!

It's pretty bad when you're using the default Wordpress template to try and sell your amazing plug-in!

Give me a break!

The question is if SE's is decoding the UTF-8 characters (that's what the plugin do - it encodes characters to UTF if you didn't see that..) or if they just don't... If they don't it truly would suck for any type of SEO ofc.. :x And still.. if they do, BAM! It's probably not unique any more anyway? :f
