Hello, I switched themes on my WordPress blog. The problem is that my blog still shows the old theme and the new one I activated mixed in. Things I have done already to try to resolve this was log in to my cpanel and go to LiteSpeed cache settings and clear all the cache from my blog.

I also cleared all history cache ect from my browser closed the browser reopened it went to my blog still seeing the two themes mixed in as one. Any ideas on how to fix this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks.

CDN cache? Opcache, Memcached, Redis cache? Could maybe be some cache left at your ISP´s cache.

Much architectural achievement, such awesome stack. :)

On topic : Yep, cache ofcourse. One of thousands of possible issues with wp.

Delete the old theme completely. Refresh your cache(s), then open site in a different browser.

Sometimes plugins may conflict with other themes, especially if they modify the appearance or functionality of your website. Try removing any unnecessary plugins to see if that fixes the problem.

That is exactly what it was i deactivated all plugins. The right theme started showing as normal. I reactivated the plugins one by one and as soon as i activated the PageLayer plugin it showed the mixture of two themes again. So the problem was the PageLayer plugin.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Sounds like a caching issue.

Feel free to PM the URL and I will have a look (for free ofc)
