Use a good analytics tool and setup conversion tracking. If you sell products. create custom coupon for different markting campains to test what is working.

Well i am thinking of the reason why to buy traffic, rather it should be brought in organically by upgrading you content and performing SEO

yes thats right buying traffic will have no effect just do good seo / sem

Try to use main wordpress resources, like plugins or theme directories. Belive me you'll not find a better source than then community itself.

Make sure to install a good analysis plugin like Matomo to measure the traffic.
