im looking for a way to convert my wordpress to joomla, anyone here has an idea?
Here some more infos:
Wordpress Version 3.1
I searched on google, here and some warez sites but i dont find a converter...
You may easily convert your WordPress into Joomla. For this, you should refer the website of http://www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/converting-a-wordpress-site-to-joomla/. This website has highlighted you about the conversion of various versions of WordPress up to WordPress 3 and can work properly for Joomla 1.5 only.
thanks for the tipp mate, but saddly i cant install 1.5 anymore. I use it with my Panel which allows me only to use 2.5 :/
Why not install a 1.5 Joomla, convert your WP database to it, then upgrade the 1.5 to 2.5, export the database, and import it into your proper website?
The problem is this: I like Joomla and my Client loves Joomla too.
He installed Joomla 1.5 in legacy on a php4 server which was never upgraded. So i did export all his entries to my vps.
So i cant simply move the joomla 1.5 and i cant migrate because of the php4 gap. So the idea was simple, importing to wordpress and then from wordpress back to joomla 2.5.
Now i just need to know some other ways around this
That might actually work...
why you want to have joomla?
I dont my client want it
why would you do that? i transferred all my joomla sites to wordpress, it's much better, and has many more plugins
Client's opinion, we showed them wordpress but they wanted joomla...
