Why not just remove all time and date stamps. Makes your blog timeless and then it doesn't matter how long you leave before posting. Am assuming you are talking about Wordpress.
To get rid of the date stamp:
    1) Locate post.php
    2) Will look like this <?php the_time('Fj,Y');?>
    3) Make it look like this <?php// the_time('Fj,Y');?>

Add the the two forward slashes.
You may have to do this in two places in the code depending on your blog template design. Sometimes just the date disappears and the month remains. If so, just go back to the same line and find the next line of code which will be the same as above and add the slashes.
