Wordpress Themes

IS it worth buying a $50-$60 wordpress theme optimized for adsense? Or are there free ones that work just as well? I'm very new to this so I don't want to invest the money unless I know it's a good choice.

This depends on what you want to do with it. Go to wordpress.org where there are lots of themes, you can add adsense to any theme so paying that kind of money is a bit steep. I use free themes from wordpress.org and modify them using a child theme, easy and free

you can download most of the premium themes for free, if you just google something like "blablabla wordpress theme nulled"

From my experience most wordpress theme devs don't have a clue what an adsense optimized theme looks like, because they're devs, not webmasters. Get a theme and optimize it your self by testing different ad placements and sizes. Also test your site in mobile and make sure things are optimal there too.

Make sure you check any of these so called free nulled themes for hidden code, some can have hidden redirects and all sorts of malicious coding hidden in them, check and double check before uploading to your server - Better to stick with honest sites. Nulled themes are free for a reason

There are countless themes that you can purchase. How practical it is to buy one depends on the kind of theme you are buying and where you are going to use it.

nulled is not worth it.
WP Theme optimised for Adsence - is BS - recommendations where and how to place it are not a secret anymore. Get any fast free one, or consider paying.
I got both. nulled theme is just like shooting yourself in a back.

Ok. Is there any specific theme to use for creating niche site and can i easily get adsense approval ?

It's not worth buying a theme until you're actually making money. When I started out online I used free themes until my sites were making some profits and then invested in premium themes when I wanted to increase my profits.

well if you ask me, it's not worth it. I'd would prefer to find it on the internet or just hire a freelancer to make a simple theme for wordpress or any other platform idk it's up to you.

It depends.

I have a habit of acting on impulse - by that i mean an idea will pop into my head for a great site and i will go ahead and build it without doing any research on competition etc. This is where i will take advantage of a free theme in the download section on BHW. If it ends up being a good idea then i'll buy the theme, if not i'll dump the site.

When i have a serious idea for a site, done some research and know im onto a good thing, i will find the right theme and pay for it.

Always check the download section before buying any theme, you will find lots of gems there.

Let me tell you as a website designer that there are lots of truly amazing themes on ThemeForest otherwise known as Envato.

They basically sell everything - website themes/templates, audio, video templates, images and more.

For $60 you can get a truly amazing theme for Wordpress or html/css templates for around half that maybe even less. I almost always buy a template and then edit it to fit what my clients want.

Laying the ground work ie the base of a wordpress template is ALOT of time and work. I can pass big savings onto my clients buying a theme and turning that into what they want rather than doing it all by myself. Of course if for a specific reason I needed to build it all myself I can but this costs me lots more time so them lots more money.

I wouln't however recommend buying a adsense theme as this will just be a theme where ads are in places where people are most likely to look and click. That is if you have a good theme developer who has actually researched this. It could just be any other theme with adsense built into it. You have no real way of telling if it really will make a difference. Also you could just mimic anything bits of the theme you like if you are able to write in html, php and css.

Just my 2 cents coming from experience. Main point is buying themes save massive amounts of time for a relatively small outlay.
