Wordpress theme recommendations?

Hi guys, I have started a website that I think will end up being successful, however I hate my theme. Does anyone know about a theme or plugin that uses a sidebar of categories like aliexpress or ebay?

I currently have a sidebar, but it is not visually appealing, and is not formatted quite how I like.

Divi is good for beginners. Otherwise just learn some css and do it yourself
 
I apologize, I never specified in my original post. This is my first website, so i'm looking for a free alternative. Unless you know where I could get the divi theme for free. Thank you for your suggestion

We can't pick one for you because we don't know your tastes and inclinations.

Edit: Okay you said free. Good luck because it's hard to get a free theme that's of a high quality.
 
Well I know that there are some themes in the downloads section of the forum, but I have found that most of them are not the greatest. Looks like I am going to have to do some serious work on this site design.
 
The best option is for you to either look for the paid themes so that you can receive support when it comes to customization of the theme. On the other hand, you can choose to learn some basic coding skills so that you can do the customization on your own. I will say the second method is the best because you will be in a position where you can change the theme to what you want it to be. Try to figure out which is the best alternative here.

I would steer clear of Avada used it in the past and it is just loaded with crap. Very slow because of all of the uneeded extras and short codes.

I'll second the idea to learn a bit of code and modify what you have. It will only help you in the long run
 
First do some research regarding your niche and filter out the best looking designs of your competitors.
Then check look for the theme via using "wp theme detector". After getting the theme name, do this query in Google "get THEMENAME".
 
Look at a site you want yours to look like. go to whatwpthemeisthat.com and find theme alternatives. Pm me if you need more info on how to get good free themes

Free themes are not that good mate. You would have to pick some premium themes. What's is your site link so that I could have a look and come up with better suggestions.
 
You don't need a special theme to have your categories in your sidebar, you can use a widget. There are tons of free themes with sidebars and all of them are going to work with a widget.

Divi theme will not comes in free. It comes under Premium.
So you can use the free theme and make it according to your favour.
You can download the latest theme otherwise news Magazine theme.
 
Hey Suziaza, your website had some great themes. I just uploaded one to my site, but now I just get error codes on every page, above the rest of it. I will try to fix this issue, but thank you for showing me these themes
 
Try these themes too,which has features card design which became extremely popular with Pinterest. Each card includes an image preview and a brief description for it. So, the theme could be used for both product and for any services.

There are many free wordpress themes and mild. However I have not been using a premium theme for my site
