Wordpress theme question

    I just found a great theme that I like a lot on WP. It's called "Responsive". It's a very clean layout with a big call to action in the middle and not a lot of clutter. I did notice that all of my blog posts have dissapeared though. I'm sure I can get them back with some messing around but I actually like the clean look. My questions is.....will big G penalize my site with this theme for thin content without the posts showing up on the home page? G can still see all of the content I'm assuming right?

    Did you maybe change the permalink structure or are your links to the individual post still the same ?
    Does not matter if the home page is thin, as long s there is a link that the spiders can follow to the inner pages then it is okj.

    And ask your self is it a optimized user experience or does it just look cool
