I have been playing around with microniche sites and I think it's time to buy a theme for wordpress. I am thinking of making an authority site and not sure if I will end up using adsense or not. Might go a different direction and try to sell products or something like that. What are some of the best themes to use that are easy to manipulate and work well? Is Genesis good to use?

I have used SmallBiz Theme for over a year now. Has seo, mobile pages and facebook fanpages built in. Multiple home page layouts and easy to customize. The developers are responsive and always improving it. Also nice that you can buy one developer license for unlimited domains and lifetime updates and support.

Search theme forest. Make sure it's a template that is Wp 3.0 ready (at least). There Re several with ad slots built in. If not you ca. Use Ad rotator plugin
Thanks. I tried out CTR last night and that thing made the ugliest websites I have ever seen. So I ended up getting the clickbump bundle and that was exactly what I was looking for. The above themes are a bit too expensive for me right now.
